Installation Steps

Note:

1. Installation Distance

Installation distance: It refers to the distance between the installation position of the projector and the projection screen before the projector is installed (this distance basically determines how large the projection screen you can get). The following data is for reference only: 100'' screen is available for more than 3 meters, and 120'' screen is available for more than 3.5 meters. For details, please refer to the manual (Aspect Ratio is 16:9).

2. Projection Distance

Projection distance: The distance between the projection lens and the projection screen. The projection distance is closely related to the projection size. The larger the projection distance, the larger the projection image; the smaller the projection distance, the smaller the screen size.

Since the lens specifications of different projectors are different, there is no uniform reference standard for the projection distance. You can check the projection distance of the projector through the manual. As can be seen from the above figure, this projector can cast 100''-120'' images between 3m and 3.5m. If the actual installation distance is less than 3.5m, then only the screen below 100'' can be projected. You don't have to buy a projection screen of 100'' or more.

3. Projection Distance Comparison

In addition to the projection distance comparison table provided in the manual, we can calculate the projection distance ourselves by the "Throw Ratio" in the specification parameters. For example, the Throw Ratio of a projector is 1.2:1, the screen size refers to the above figure, In this case, the 100'' shortest projection distance = Throw Ratio × screen width = 1.2 × 2.657 = 3.08m

Installation Steps:

  1. Find the location where you plan to install the projector, install the corresponding screen (you can also project directly on the wall), measure the distance after installing the projection screen.Projectors with hanging function generally have special lifting holes at the bottom, which are used to connect with the projector mount. This type of projector mount is very common, and it suitable to various models. Pry open four pads at the bottom of the projector.

  2. Fix the projector mount directly to the ceiling with screws. However, due to the heavy weight of the projector, It is really important to pay more attention to the quality when choosing the projector mount. There are many accidents caused by poor quality of the projector mount or the screwing depth is not enough. So please fasten the projector with the screws supplied by the manufacturer.

3.Open the universal ceiling projector mount and connect the foot of the projector mount to the hanging hole of the projector.

  4. Hang the projector on the projector mount and fasten the screws.

  5. Project the image onto the wall or projector screen, move the projector to adjust the position of the image, and focus the image by rotating the button on the right side of the projector to make the projected image cover the whole screen as far as possible.
